My Foot

My foot in a stirrup! Whatever next, I wore these boots especially for my friend Janet, whose horse I was riding. There is a bit of useless information for you.

I have just been home for a week, the best week I have had for months. Home is definately where my heart is and I miss it like anything. St Emilion is nice but nothing compares to home.

I caught up with friends went for great walks, it is so beautiful in the Var, the hills the mountains, the lakes, the rivers the the valleys, I am afraid St Emilion just doesn't come any where near the spectacular beauty of where I live.

I took photographs out riding with Janet of rolling hills but they didn't come out so well. So I haven't a lot to tell you. I am workinf in St Emilion as a housekeeper in a Chateau, and have quite a bit of time on my own, which I am trying to fill up, so as not to feel the void to much. I have finally started to write my cookery book after 20 years of trying and I am also illustrating a childrens story.

I agree that as much as St Emilon was amazing and I must thank you so much for being there so I could visit it and see another part of france. It is nothing on your home and I wish to come and see you agian soon there.
